Integrated, fundamental and applicative interdisciplinary research
and development in the fields: nuclear energy and nuclear
fuel cycle, international thermonuclear reactor (ITNR) and
controlled thermonuclear fusion, nanotechnologies, basic researches,
information technologies and systems, dual-purpose
technologies and developments, decommissioning, non-proliferation,
nuclear medicine.
RRC «Kurchatov Institute» performs researches in the following
directions: ship nuclear vehicles, man-caused and ecological
safety and physical security of NAVY objects. Is developing
and producing computer-aided educational systems and training
simulator complexes for the ships with nuclear energy.
