Joint-Stock Scientific Industrial Enterprise «Topaz», found in
1992, is the directing agency of Ministry of Defense in the field
of design, manufacture, and modernization of ground and shipborne
flight information processing systems. Since 1997 manufacture
and modernization of unified base complex «Topaz-
M», adopted for supply to Russian Federation Air Forces, is
the main stream of enterprise's activity. The complex provides
processing of flight information for all aircraft types, used by
Ministry of Defense of Russian Federation, Ministry of Internal
Affairs, Emercom, Federal Security Department. More than 500
«Topaz-M» complexes have been supplied to various organization
of Russian Federation, more than 50 complexes have
been supplied to 15 foreign countries. SIE «Topaz» designs
software for processing recorded parameters of any object (including
surface vessels and submarines), which requires objective
control during maintenance.
