Russian frontiersmen received patrol ship Rubin for protection of national sea border in the Black Sea, reported RIA Novosti referring to press service of Black Sea & Azov Coast Guard Dept.

The ship is designed by Severnoye Design Bureau and "equipped with the most advanced arms, navigational and comm facilities, has automated control system", said the press service. Also, there is an aft heliport, reports the press-release. The ship's displacement is 700 tons; navigability is force 8; endurance is 30 days.

Frontiersmen met the patrol ship in Novorossiysk on Thursday.

"The crew was given a traditional piglet roast, guests had an on board excursion", reported the press service.

For Russian frontiersmen, Rubin is a "good support in the area of protection of state border, territorial waters, exclusive economic zone, and continental shelf ", stated the Frontier Service.
