Russia will participate in Euronaval exhibition for the seventh time, reported Federal Service for Military Technical Co-operation (FSMTC). International exhibition of naval arms and engineering Euronaval-2010 will be held in Le Bourget in Oct 25-29.

Except for Russia, 34 countries confirmed their participation: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, the UK, Germany, Greece, Denmark, India, Spain, Italy, Israel, Canada, Colombia, Lebanon, Libya, Luxembourg, Malaysia, New Zealand, Netherlands, Norway, the United Arab Emirates, Poland, the U.S., Singapore, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, France, Finland, Chile, Sweden, Switzerland, and South Korea.

According to the steering committee, 370 companies have requested for participation.

The largest national expositions will be presented by France (188 companies), Germany (23 companies), Italy (24 companies), Russia (22 companies), the U.S. (17 companies), the UK (17 companies), Norway (16 companies), Netherlands (16 companies), and Denmark (9 companies).

Firstly in Euronaval, participants will have an opportunity to demonstrate its production and equipment in a special basin.

Official program includes wide range of activities including such forums as "Naval Forces in 2040" and "Maritime Security in France and Europe".

Russian exposition is arranged by state-led company Rostehnologii. Twenty two Russian companies will attend the exhibition, including three subjects of military technical cooperation (state company Rostehnologii, FSUE Rosoboronexport, and JSC Admiralteyskie Verfi).

According to FSMTC press service, 14 Russian organizations will present information of 163 defense products. Among them is Project 12200 Sobol patrol boat, Project 20970 Katran patrol boat, Project 12061E Murena-E air-cushion landing boat, EM compatibility equipment for shipborne radio aids Podzagolovok-24E, shipborne antiaircraft gun/missile system Kashtan-M, 30-mm automatic gun mount AK-630M, naval antiaircraft gun system Palma.

For the first time JSC Dolgoprudny Scientific Production Enterprise will present the model of launcher 3S90E.1 for SAM system Shtil-1.

Initiator of Euronaval-2010 is GICAN, industrial group on shipbuilding and naval arms. The exhibition subject is shipbuilding, naval engineering and equipment, naval aviation, control systems, telecommunications, navigational aids, and simulators.
