Project 667BDRM Delfin nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarine (SSBN) Novomoskovsk will leave slipways of Zvezdochka Ship Repair Center on Dec 11, said a source in defense industry in the interview to the Central Navy Portal.

The sub was laid up in 2008 for repairs and modernization. After launching, she will be moored at outfitting quay; Zvezdochka shipyard will continue works on the submarine's recovery.

Supposedly, SSBN K-407 Novomoskovsk will be delivered to the Navy in fourth quarter of 2011. The sub will be in service till 2021.

K-407 is the youngest Delfin class submarine. With delivery of Novomoskovsk, Zvezdochka completes the overhaul and modernization program which has been applied to Project 667BDRM since 1999.
