Known Russian sailing frigate Pallada conducting a 2-month cruise over the Pacific Ocean has left South Korean port Pusan and set a course for Singapore, reported RIA Novosti referring to a representative of the Far East State University of Fishery (Dalrybvtuz) which is a shipowner.
Sailer Pallada left Vladivostok on Jan 25 and started her first training cruise in 2011. "The frigate arrived to Pusan on Jan 29 and had been staying there for two days. Cadets had a chance to visit local places of interest (note that Pusan is the brother-city of Vladivostok), walked around the city and had a good time", said the interviewee.
According to him, Pallada left Pusan on Monday heading for Singapore. Group of local maritime students will join Russian cadets there. Such international practice will allow students to exchange skills and will contribute to strengthening of friendly relations between the two countries.
Pallada will take Singaporean students on board and then sail to Vietnamese port of Ho Chi Minh", specified the interviewee.
On the homeward trip Pallada is going to call at Chinese port of Dalian, and return to Vladivostok on March 23.
