Russian, Ukrainian defense ministers discussed military cooperation

25.03.2011 Russian and Ukrainian defense ministers Anatoly Serdiukov and Mikhail Yezhel met in Moscow on Friday and discuss cooperation between the two authorities, reports Russian defense ministry's press service.

Ukrainian military delegation pays working visit to Moscow to attend the session of security subcommittee of Russian-Ukrainian intergovernmental commission.

"In accordance with agenda, Russian defense minister Anatoly Serdiukov and his Ukrainian counterpart discussed wide range of issues regarding inter-agency cooperation in military and technical areas", said the release.

Reportedly, the meeting will result in appropriate decisions.

Sessions of security subcommittee are held on the scheduled basis; current meeting is the fourth one. The next session will be conducted in Oct 2011.
