Russia's Black Sea Fleet (BSF) enterprises located in Sevastopol continue to increase wage arrears. 771st Radio-Repair Plant raised the overall debt of BSF Construction Dept on UAH 1.9 mln.

That was reported by Elena Dolgova, deputy director of social protection department during the session of Sevastopol city administration.

As for her, officials of the BSF enterprise promise to pay off debts in April.

"We addressed letters to BSF Command and Russian defense ministry which are direct customers and must pay for contracts executed by BSF companies. In addition, intergovernmental commission on BSF deployment took all materials to consider. There are not only wage issues, but previous debts to superannuation fund and other social payments", said Sevastopol Mayor Assistant Irina Tsokur.

Head of Sevastopol city administration Valery Saratov said he had been visited by fleet officials on March 30 who assured they had found solution for problem of wage arrears and non-completed buildings.

"Let us make a diplomatic pause and address a letter to Russian premier Vladimir Putin. I said to BSF Commander "we'll write complains to anybody who can zing you up", Saratov said.
