Baltic Fleet (BF) pilots are training pilotage skills in heavy conditions over Kaliningrad region. Pilots of BF Helicopter Squadron practiced flights in severe weather conditions, reports REGNUM referring to BF Commander press-secretary Capt 2 rank Andrei Taraman. Among mandatory drills were taking off, pilotage in clouds, and landing approach at extreme weather conditions.

During the training flights cloud base was 100 meters and visibility – not longer than 1 km. "Flights in such weather conditions is a great piece of luck for pilots", said squadron commander Lt. Col. Igor Fedorchuk. As for him, "everyone knows that pilotage experience in bad weather is essential requirement for training of 1st class pilots and sniper pilots".

In accordance with the combat training schedule, in the nearest time the squadron will conduct night flights and firing drills at land targets.
