Pella Shipyard (St. Petersburg) on May 6 signed a shipbuilding contract for subsequent series of Project 90600 azimuth tugboats for Russian Navy.
The yard has built 5 tugs of this project for Russian Navy since 2008. Four of them serve in Northern Fleet, one – in Black Sea Fleet. Another tug launched in mid-Apr will also join Black Sea Fleet till the current year is over.

Apart from Project 90600 tugboats, Pella Shipyard builds a series of larger tugs (Project 16609) for Russian Navy. The first one is to be delivered in the nearest time.
