Navy Main HQ has analyzed issues discussed at the meeting between Russian Navy Commander-in-Chief Admiral Vladimir Vysotsky and Royal Danish Navy Commander Rear Admiral Finn Hansen. The meeting took place in St. Petersburg within the framework of state visit of Her Majesty Queen of Denmark Margrethe II to Russia.

As for Russian Navy command, military cooperation between the two countries has strong prospects. This regards to regular exchange of anti-piracy experience and development of contacts between the two navies with the view to promote security worldwide and particularly in North Atlantic.

Danish shipowners attending the meeting highly appreciated Russian Navy's efforts to protect merchant shipping in piracy-hazardous regions and distinguished complete professionalism of Russian servicemen.
