In training year of 2012, flight time of Baltic Fleet (BF) ASW Helicopter Squadron will be doubled.
Each pilot will spend at lest 110 hours in the air. Intensification of combat training will improve qualification level of aircrews.
Despite low temperatures, crews of the helicopter squadron continue training flights. They practice searching and trailing of "enemy" submarines day and night, as well as searching and rescuing of people in distress, picking them aboard from the sea and land.
