Russian Antipiracy Task Unit Establishes International Cooperation 28.02.2012

Members of counter-piracy Combined Task Force 151 based on USS Halsey (DDG97) met with Russian anti-piracy task group in the Gulf of Aden, reported US Navy's official website.

The meeting was held on Feb 19 on board Russia's Pacific Fleet large ASW ship Admiral Tributs.

Commanders of the two leading task groups taking part in the international anti-piracy campaign discussed possible interaction between flagships in order to improve effectiveness of performed maritime security mission.
