Sevastopol administrative court rendered a decision to collect tax arrears to the amount of UAH 1,296 mln (somewhat RUR 5 mln) from Russian defense ministry.

According to Sevastopol procuracy press service, the court made such decision on May 10, having sustained a claim of the city's procuracy.

In Apr 2010, Russian and Ukrainian presidents Dmitry Medvedev and Viktor Yanukovich signed an agreement in Kharkov prolonging deployment of Russia's Black Sea Fleet (BSF) in Sevastopol from 2017 up to 2042.

According to poll published in March 2012 by the sociological group "Rating", through the recent year portion of adherers of the BSF deployment prolongation has reduced from 42% to 33%.

Some Ukrainian politicians stick out for denunciation of the Kharkov agreements. However, the then Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin stated in Feb 2012 that Russia was not about to withdraw the fleet from Ukraine. Advisor to Chief of General Staff and ex-commander of Black Sea Fleet ADM Igor Kasatonov told reporters in March 2012 that Ukraine was hindering build-up of the Russian fleet's military power.
