Caspian Flotilla (CF) Commander RADM Sergei Alyokminsky accompanied by group of officers on Aug 7 inspected corvette Dagestan. Chiefs of the flotilla's services checked damage control systems, premises, and crew living conditions.

The ship's inspection is the final stage of state acceptance trials. Shipbuilders presented shipboard systems, weapons, and rescue equipment ready to be used for intended purpose.

Commanding officer of corvette Dagestan Capt 3 Rank Muzofar-ogly Meriyev reported to CF Commander that the crew was prepared for the trip to the permanent basing site.

Upon arrival at the base and completion of commissioning activities, St. Andrew's Flag (Russian Navy ensign) will be triumphantly hoisted on corvette Dagestan.
