Pacific Fleet Holds Fifth "Cruise of Memory" 23.08.2012

Since Aug 25 through Sept 17, Pacific Fleet (PF) task unit will carry out the fifth military historical "Cruise of Memory".

The cruise is associated with the 365-th anniversary of Okhotsk which is the cradle town of Pacific Fleet. Participants of the cruise will also pay honors to Soviet sailors died during liberation of the Sakhalin and Kuril islands in the World War II.

The task unit will consist of landing ship Admiral Nevelskoi and seagoing tug Kalar.
