French Defense Minister Visited Russian Booth at Euronaval-2012 24.10.2012

French defense minister Jean-Yves Le Drian visited Russian exposition at the 23-rd international exhibition Euronaval-2012 today.

The exposition displayed under auspices of JSC Rosoboronexport was presented to the French minister by Mikhail Petukhov, the head of Russian delegation and deputy director of Federal Service for Military Technical Cooperation, and Anatoly Isaikin, Director General of JSC Rosoboronexport.

According to Isaikin, French defense minister expressed satisfaction with the military development between Russia and France, in particular, with progress in the construction of two Mistral-class amphibious assault ships being built in Saint-Nazaire for Russian Navy in accordance with timeline.

On Oct 24, Russian delegation was going to depart for Saint-Nazaire to hold working talks on the ships' construction issues, said the director of Rosoboronexport.
