21-year old conscript sailor Nikolai Zhaliy took his own life in the Gorki-25 military camp near Moscow. He was found hanged on a pipe in a diesel room, writes LifeNews.

The incident occurred in the military unit No. 33877 near Dmitrov, Moscow region. The sailor's body was found at 8 am during the morning round. Nikolai made a rope noose, fixed it on a pipe in the diesel room where he served as electrician, and hanged himself, said a source in law-enforcement agencies. It was urgently reported to duty officer and the military unit commander.

Nikolai Zhaliy was a native of Vorkuta drafted into the Navy on Nov 25, 2011. Later on, he was posted electrician in a maintenance company.

So far, it is unclear what made the young man commit a suicide. His servicemates say there were no changes in his recent behavior. The sailor's parents have been notified about the tragedy and are preparing to depart from Komi Republic to their son's military unit. To reveal causes of the tragedy, an investigative group was dispatched to the incident site.
