At present, investigators are conducting many cases related to frauds in defense industry, so new scandalous debunking and dismissals cannot be ruled out, said Russian vice premier Dmitry Rogozin, a government's supervisor of defense industry, writes Kommersant.
"The cleanup is inevitable. I'm aware of violations in some space-rocket and aircraft-engineering companies. If what is said is true, some of military industrial bosses were really reckless in 90's. They impudently registered governmental property upon their daughters, sons, and mothers-in-law having no concern for consequences. But as the phrase goes, the pitcher goes often to the well but is broken at last", Rogozin said in the interview to Rossiyskaya Gazeta.
"The governmental military industrial commission is informed on financial basis of any company. Whenever we notice shady schemes, we promptly draw attention of procuracy and law-enforcement agencies to that", he stressed.
"Together with special services we check all new appointments to make sure that the candidates relate well to the law. At last, now the Federal Service for Defense Order is subordinated to the government. Being earlier kenneled by defense ministry, this watchdog is starting to put things right in the area of placement and implementation of state defense order. If companies are led by persons canalizing all grants to wrong ways, how can we work with this kind of bosses?! I will address all compromising materials to procuracy, and these people will then have to do with law-enforcement agencies", emphasized the vice premier.
