Known Russian dress designer Valentin Yudashkin commented reports of defense ministry's decision to waive military uniform designed by him.
The couturier told
Izvestiya that the military had roughly distorted his initial concept, changed textiles, accessories and heat retaining materials, having turned the innovative uniform into a counterfeit.
As for Yudashkin, until the very recent moment he hoped that military leaders would finally post an open letter confessing that the stylist had no relation to the adopted kind of a uniform.
However, defense ministry now making "a mess out of a mess", that uniform has nothing common with the designer and his fashion house, said Yudashkin.
