Destroyer Severomorsk Opens New Training Season at Northern Fleet 05.12.2012

Northern Fleet (NF) destroyer Severomorsk is accomplishing combat training tasks in the Barents Sea. The ship's crew and air wing are holding maneuvers with practical use of weapons.

Trough several days, NF mariners were engaging "enemy" warships and aircraft. Crews of main caliber guns held practical firing drills "destroying" coast-based, sea surface, and air targets. Destroyer Severomorsk became the first NF ship taken sea for exercise in the new training period.
