"Permission to conduct the activity given by Navy officials contradicts requirements of regulations and law "Cultural heritage objects"; it made background of loss (damage) of museum valuables".

Procuracy representatives did not name guilty persons may be brought to responsibility.

Cruiser Avrora more known as Central Naval Museum branch is still heading list of Russian Navy warships being a ship No.1 there.

The museum was closed during the party, so responsibility for things happened rests with captain and crew along with those who permitted the banquet. According to some sources, the permission was personally given by Rear Admiral Anatoly Lipinsky, Leningrad Naval Base commander who was promoted to Novorossiysk Naval Base commander soon after.
