Crimean Tatars intend to strive for denunciation of agreements providing deployment of Russian Black Sea Fleet (BSF) in Sevastopol at least till 2042.
As reported by RIA Novosti, that was stated by Mustafa Dzhemilev, the leader of so-called "Majlis of Crimean Tatar People".
"All our clearheaded compatriots and, of course, "Majlis of Crimean Tatar People" will support those political movements which pursue denunciation of this agreement, humiliating and disgraceful for Ukraine", assured Dzhemilev.
Having allowed Russian fleet to stay in Crimea, Ukrainian leaders disposed of "national territory" of Crimean Tatars as "their own patrimonial estate", said Dzhemilev on May 18 at 66th anniversary of Crimean Tatars' deportation to Central Asia.
As reported previously, Russia consented to allow an abatement of gas price for Ukraine in exchange for prolongation of BSF deployment in Sevastopol up to 2042. Ukrainian opposition declared the agreement was adversarial to Ukraine's national interests and promised to strive for denunciation.
