Russian Navy Commander-in-Chief Admiral Vladimir Vysotsky visited Rubin design bureau and Central Scientific Research Institute within the framework of annual fleet commanders' forum in St. Petersburg, reports RIA Novosti referring to a representative of Russian Navy.
Accompanied with fleet commanders, Vysotsky discussed prospects for defense shipbuilding with leadership of the design bureau and the research institute.
Fleet commanders were tasked to actively develop training facilities to increase officers' qualification level in the context of coming reinforcement with new ships, in particular, frigates, corvettes, diesel and nuclear submarines.
Annual fleet commander's operative forum will be finished on March 5.
