Cargo ship Mariam loaded with humanitarian aid for Gaza people will sail off Libyan port Tripoli on Sunday at 10 pm (local time), reported Thursday British TV channels.

"The purpose of this expedition is to break the Gaza blockade. At first, the ship will head for Cyprus, then to Gaza. We obtained permission from Libyan authorities, and Cyprus has not disallowed so far", said the initiators of subsequent action.

According to them, there will be about 60 women on board Mariam; they are activists from Libya, the U.S., and Europe. Another ship named Naji al-Ali carrying medical equipment will leave for Gaza two days later.

Israel in its turn warned initiators of the action that it would not let any of the ships to Gaza Strip, reports ITAR-TASS. Israeli Navy intercepted humanitarian convoy Freedom Flotilla sailing to Gaza on May 31. Nine participants of the humanitarian action were killed during that operation.
