Ukrainian sailors hurled pirates in the Gulf of Aden

The crew of Ukrainian cargo ship Lady Juliet managed to hurl Somali pirates at the Gulf of Aden. Two "sea-robbers" were wounded then.

According to Maritime Bulletin, pirates by two motorboats attacked the vessel on Nov 16. The dry cargo ship with 23 Ukrainians was fired by small arms and grenade launchers. There was military group from international Vessel Protection Detachment (VPD) at the ship. They opened reprisal fire. Pirates immediately stopped the assault and sailed away to their base-ship.
