A summit between China, Japan and South Korea, has discussed cooperation in the economy, culture and the protection of the natural environment.

President Lee Myung-bak, Prime Minister Wen Jiabao and Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama are meeting in the South Korean resort of Cheju-do.

Sunday, the second day of the talks, will be dominated by the topic of the March sinking of a South Korean patrol boat, in an incident near the North-South borderline in the Yellow Sea.

The sinking claimed 46 lives.

An international probe found evidence pointing to a torpedo fired by a North Korean submarine.
