B-445 Svyatoi Nikolai Chudotvorets is a Project 877 diesel submarine.

CONSTRUCTION, NAME

The sub was laid down on March 21, 1987 at Leninsky Komsomol Shipyard (Komsomolsk-on-Amur); launched on September 26, 1987. The sub was commissioned into Soviet Navy in 1987-1988. In 2005 the sub obtained honorable name of Svyatoi Nikolai Chudotvorets as St. Nicholas Thaumaturge charitable foundation took the sub under the patronage.

MILESTONES

In 1996 the sub was transferred from Bechevinskaya Bay to Ilyichev Bay.
In 2002 she was laid up for repair at 49th Shipyard in Seldevaya Bay.
In 2003 the sub was transferred to Krashennikov Bay.
