CONSTRUCTION, NAME

The ship was laid down on December 30, 1985 at Peene-Werft shipyard (Wolgast, GDR); launched on November 20, 1986; commissioned on May 19, 1988.

MILESTONES

In 1990, 1992 and 1993 being a part of ASW attack group, the ship won Navy Commander's Prize for ASW training.
