MPK-107 is a Project 1124M Small ASW Ship (SAS).

CONSTRUCTION, NAME

The ship was laid down on February 22, 1988 at Kirov Shipyard (Khabarovsk); launched on June 5, 1990; commissioned on March 14, 1991. It had the name of Irkutsky Komsomolets till February 15, 1992.

MILESTONES

In 1999 being a part of ASW attack group, the ship won Navy Commander's Prize for ASW training.

In September 2000 it took part in joint Russian-Japanese naval exercise near Avachinskaya Guba.
