CONSTRUCTION, NAME

The ship was laid down on December 30, 1985 at Peene-Werft shipyard (Wolgast, GDR); launched on August 12, 1986; commissioned on May 19, 1988 under the name of MPK-99. The ship obtained a name of Zelenodolsk in 2004.

MILESTONES

On July 27, 2008 the ship took part in St. Petersburg naval parade in honor of Russian Navy Day.
