R-160 (hull number 054) is a Project 12411 missile boat (corvette) designed for destruction of enemy warships, transport and assult vessels, terrorist groups in the sea and in the bases; protection of ships and vessels from surface and air attacks.

CONSTRUCTION

Missile boat R-160 (serial number 208) was laid down at Srednenevsky Shipyard on February 27, 1986; put afloat on September 29, 1987 and commissioned on August 8, 1988. In 1990, the boat was renamed into Poltavsky Komsomolets; on February 15, 1992 – into R-160; in 1997 – into MAK-160
