Shtil is a Project 12341 Small Missile Ship.

CONSTRUCTION, NAME

The ship was laid down at Primorsky shipyard (Leningrad) on June 28, 1976 under name of Zyb; launched on October 23, 1978; commissioned on February 16, 1979. The ship was renamed into Komsomolets Mordovii on April 13, 1982; since February 15, 1992 she has name of Shtil.

MILESTONES

In 1984, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1993 and 1998 being a part of attack group, the ship won Navy Commander's Prize for missile firing.

In 2005-2006 the ship passed scheduled overhaul in Novorossiysk.
