Prior to test launches of SLBM Bulava, the newest 4th generation SSBN Yury Dolgoruky will conduct torpedo firings, reports Interfax-AVN referring to a source from Navy Main HQ.

"Yury Dolgoruky will sail to the White Sea in the nearest days to practice torpedo firings and once again test serviceability of main onboard systems", said the interviewee.

According to him, in Dec the crew of Yury Dolgoruky will take the baton of further test launches of Bulava once the coming one to be performed by SSBN Dmitry Donskoy is successful.
