Launching ceremony of Project 22350 frigate Admiral Flota Sovetskogo Soyuza Gorshkov was held today at 1.30 pm at Severnaya Verf shipyard (St. Petersburg).

Further works will be performed at the shipyard's fitting quay.

Project 22350 frigate is designed for combat operations in littoral, distant sea and ocean zones. Displacement is about 4,500 tons, extreme length is over 130 meters, extreme beam is over 16 meters, fuel range is over 4,000 nautical miles, navigability is not limited. Shipborne helicopter is also provided. The project was developed by Severnoye Design Bureau.
