Crews of Far East Shipping Company (FESCO) vessels staying in the South Korea's largest port of Incheon were informed about armed incident between DPRK and S Korea, although received no recommendations from port authorities, reported RIA Novosti citing the FESCO press secretary.

Earlier on, an armed incident occurred between North and S Korea near disputable limit line; that was the biggest face-off in the region throughout recent 50 years. As was reported by Seoul, N Korean artillery cannonaded one of the islands, and South Korea had to open return fire. Consequently, two South Korean servicemen were killed, 17 were wounded.
