Antimonopoly agency approves Rosoboronexport buying 30% shares of Vympel shipyard 06.04.2011

Russia's Federal Antimonopoly Agency permitted FSUE Rosoboronexport to purchase 30.0084 per cent shares of JSC Vympel Ship-Repair Plant, reports the agency.

In March 2011, Rosoboronexport bought 19.99% of the shipyard's shares.

Therefore, according to documents of the antimonopoly agency, Rosoboronexport will control 50.0033% shares of Vympel shipyard, which primarily manufactures and delivers shipbuilding and engineering products.

JSC Vympel Ship-Repair Plant produces Project 12421 Molniya missile boats, Project 14310 Mirazh and Project 12150 Mangust patrol boats, Project 14613 Mars special-purpose fire vessels, Project 13311 small-size fishing vessels, Project 13309 small-size freezer shrimp trawlers, Project 16611 hydrographic ships, harbor craft, tug boats, cargo-passenger boats, special-purpose small tugs, yachts and pleasure boats.
