Russia, Ukraine to Agree Upon Black Sea Fleet Armaments - Serdiukov 11.03.2012

Russia and Ukraine work out a draft agreement on maintaining amounts of Black Sea Fleet armaments and ships, said Russian defense minister Anatoly Serdiukov.

"We're preparing a draft agreement on maintaining amount of Black Sea Fleet armaments and ships", Serdiukov said after talks with his Ukrainian colleague Dmitry Salamatin, reports ITAR-TASS.

According to the Russian defense minister, at the meeting held in Moscow the parties discussed possibility that Russian naval pilots train on the NITKA deck simulator located in Crimea, Ukraine.

"We've drawn out a draft agreement with a view to lease that training range. It will be addressed to Ukrainian party in the nearest time", specified Serdiukov.
