Sports Center for NF Submariners to Open on Russian Navy Day 27.03.2012

Construction of typical sports center USK-IS15 Start for Northern Fleet (NF) submariners is going ahead of schedule.

According to NF Assistant Commander for Physical Training Capt 1 rank Alexei Pivachev, sports center in Gadzhievo Naval Base will be put in service on the Russian Navy Day.

The center was founded in Dec 2011 under military physical training improvement concept acting till 2016 and approved by defense minister.

At first, it was planned that the center would be 'turn-key' completed on Oct 1, 2012. However, construction is going ahead of schedule so that the sports center may open doors even late in July.
