JSC United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC) confuted information about forthcoming partition into military and civilian divisions. "This information is incorrect, and all arguments for such scenario are beneath criticism", the USC press service told Central Navy Portal.

"In present-day reality, such partition is impossible. Almost all affiliate companies of United Shipbuilding Corporation manufacture both military and civil products using same production infrastructure, same technology, same working staff, and so on", said USC president Roman Trotsenko.

JSC United Shipbuilding Corporation is the Russia's largest shipbuilding company. It was established by presidential decree in 2007; 100% shares is in federal ownership. The holding comprises over 50 companies and organizations of shipbuilding industry (largest shipyards and ship-repair plants, leading design bureaus). Presently, the corporation consolidates about 70% of national shipbuilding sector. Although the company is oriented on Russian market, it exports production to 20 countries.
