Training of crews for two Russian Mistral-class amphibious assault ships will be held on the first built ship, Jose Lagadec, representative of DCI told reporters.

Crew training for the first two Mistral-class ships will be provided by DCI; this company trains personnel for military equipment made for French armed forces and for export, pointed out Jose Lagadec.

"We will train Russian naval mariners on the hardware they will then operate, particularly, on the first Mistral-class ship currently built in Saint-Nazaire", he added.

As for him, the training process will be carried out in French with simultaneous translation into Russian language.

First Mistral ship will be delivered to Rosoboronexport in 2014, the second one – in 2015.
