Russia to Participate in Euronaval-2012 Exhibition 18.10.2012

Russian defense industry will take part in the Euronaval-2012 international exhibition which is to be held in Le Bourget in Oct 22-26. The exhibition is sponsored by French industrial group for shipbuilding and naval arms GICAN.

Subject of the show is naval shipbuilding, weapons, equipment, aircraft, control systems, telecommunications, navigation aids, and simulators.

About 400 exhibitors from 32 countries will attend the Euronaval-2012. Arrival of 76 official delegations from 60 countries is also expected.

According to Federal Service for Military Technical Cooperation (FSMTC), Russia's exposition being formed under auspices of state-led corporation Rostehnologii will take the 333-sq m area. The exhibition will be attended by 35 Russian organizations including 3 subjects of international cooperation (state corporation Rostehnologii, JSC Rosoboronexport, and JSC Admiralteyskie Verfi). Russian companies will present information about military products exported to the world market. Among them are Project 12418 missile boat, Project 12300 Scorpion missile/gun boat, Project 20970 Katran patrol boat, Project 12200 Sobol patrol boat, Project 20382 Tigr corvette, Gepard-3.9-class frigate, Project 21632 Tornado corvette, Project 677E Amur-1650 diesel-electric submarine, missile systems Club-M, Club-K, Club-U, integrated ship control system Varyag, automated control system of Bal-E coast-based antiship missile system, ship-based Yakhont missile system, coast-based sea target detection radar, etc.

Besides, JSC Tranzas will present an electronic simulator designed for small-arms training and crew teambuilding.
