Russian Navy commander dismissed - military source

						Commander of the Russian Navy, Fleet Admiral Vladimir Masorin has been dismissed due to length-of-service limitations, a Defense Ministry's source told RIA Novosti Thursday.
Masorin, 60, who has been the Navy commander since September 2005, reached retirement age on August 24, 2007.
"Commander of the Russian Navy Vladimir Masorin has been dismissed from military service due to length-of-service limitations," the source said.
Admiral Vladimir Vysotsky, former commander of the Northern Fleet, has been appointed new Navy commander, the source said.
