Pacific Fleet receives brand-new apartment building in Kamchatka

Pacific Fleet receives brand-new apartment building in Kamchatka 04.03.2009
The second multi-story apartment building for members of the Russian Pacific Fleet has been completed this year in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.

New apartments were presented to the families of servicemen from the 345th Mechanized Infantry Battalion of the Coastal Troops. The new building, which was constructed in the framework of the reconstruction and construction of the social infrastructure in Kamchatka, has a higher level of comfort and was designed to better withstand earthquakes. All apartments are furnished, outfitted with brand new home appliances, and meters for hot and cold water, as well as heat supply.

The families that have received apartments will be moving in soon.

In December 2008 and February 2009, a new kindergarten for 200 and two apartment buildings were completed in the city of Viliuchinsk and turned over to the Fleet.

The apartment building will be transferred to the Marine Division of the Fleet on March 4, 2009, in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
