Iran Builds Up Sea Power, Navy Commander Says

05.10.2012 Presentation of new Jamaran-class destroyers, Paykan- and Kaman-class missile ships, and heavy submarines will soon take place in Iran, said Admiral Habibullah Sayyari, Iranian Navy Commander.

As for him, Iranian Navy is implementing the new generation weapons development program in accordance with schedule, reports SalamNews referring to IRNA.

All achievements of Iranian military experts will be made public in due time, said the admiral. According to him, Iran repairs, reconstructs and maintains its fleet without involvement of foreign specialists.
