Yanukovich promised to settle BSF issue 14.01.2010
Viktor Yanukovich, Ukraine's presidential candidate and the leader of opposition Party of Regions declared that in case of election win he would settle the matter of Russian Black Sea Fleet deployment in Ukraine without backlash for relations between the two countries but with regard to national interests. The politician said that live on TV shown by national broadcast company Krym, informs UNIAN.

"We're going to settle this issue without negative consequences for relations between Russia and Ukraine", said Mr. Yanukovich paying official visit to Simferopol.

On the other hand, he promised to protect national interests of Ukraine while handling that problem. "I have clearly pictured to myself how to settle this issue", underlined Viktor Yanukovich.
