Yushchenko supporter resigned from Navy Commander's post 18.03.2010
Admiral Igor Teniukh has left the post of Ukrainian Navy Commander, reported today the press service of Viktor Yanukovich, Ukrainian president. He issued related decree on March 17. It was recently reported that Teniukh had filed the resignation.

Reportedly, Teniukh explained his decision as "moral and ethical necessity"; according to information available, the admiral supports ex-president Viktor Yushchenko. Gen. Col. Ivan Rusnak, Air Force Commander filed the resignation along with Teniukh.

Vice Admiral Viktor Maksimov, Navy Deputy Commander is the most probable candidate to shift Teniukh, says Kommersant Ukrainy. Expectedly, Yanukovich might introduce new Navy Commander during his visit to Crimea.
