Ukrainian state-led concern Ukroboronprom utilized munitions of Russia's Black Sea Fleet (BSF) to the amount of RUR 235 mln, reported the company's press service.

In particular, it was said that such agreement had been tied between Russian and Ukrainian defense ministers, and on Feb 28 the appropriate contract was signed by Ukroboronprom and Rosoboronexport, reports ITAR-TASS.

Ukraine committed itself to provide munitions disposal services to the overall amount of RUR 235 mln. "By that agreement, Ukraine clears its territory from munitions which storage poses potential threat to assets, population, and environment. Undoubtedly, this decision is beneficial to Ukraine", said Ukrainian defense minister Dmitry Salamatin.

Concern Ukroboronprom was established in Dec 2010 with a view to increase effectiveness of Ukrainian state-led companies designing, producing, delivering, and modernizing armaments and military equipment. The concern comprises such companies as Ukrspetsexport, Ukroboronservis, Progress, Ukrinmash, Spetstechnoexport, Promoboronexport, and TASKO-Export.
