K-328 Leopard is a Project 971 Schuka-B 3rd generation nuclear-powered attack submarine. She represents the main project of Russian attack submarines.

The sub was laid down on October 26, 1988 at Sevmash shipyard in Severodvinsk; obtained the name of Leopard on January 24, 1991; launched on June 28, 1992; commissioned on February 5, 1993.MILESTONES
In 1994 the sub won the Navy Commander's Prize for antisubmarine warfare.On January 9, 1999 the submarine commander Capt 1 rank S.V. Spravtsev was titled the Hero of the Russian Federation and invested with Golden Star medal for courage and heroism displayed in military duties.
In 1999 the sub accomplished mission on nuclear deterrence and stabilization of the situation in the context of NATO's military aggression at Balkans.
