BDK-98 is a Project 775 Large Landing Ship (LLS)

CONSTRUCTION, NAME

The ship was built in Gdansk (Poland); commissioned in 1982.

MILESTONES

In July 1-5, 2007 the ship hosted US warships when they visited Vladivostok; after that it took part in "Cruise of Memory".

The ship is under repair.

Speed: 18 knots
Operational range: 6,000 miles at 12 knots
Crew: 87 men
